Nicole Purvis is the Executive Director of Greater Four Corners Action Coalition. She was previously the Executive Director of Four Corners Main Street in Dorchester, Massachusetts where she worked with the small businesses within the Four Corners district by offering on site technical assistance, sign and facade grants through the city of Boston. Nicole's job was to work alongside the community to revitalize underused spaces. She spearheaded business recruitment and expansion activities and maintained active communications with the community through regular forums.

Nicole’s work in Four Corners has allowed her to build tremendous and meaningful relationships with a variety of community groups and local partnerships within the Mattapan and Dorchester area as well as the city at large. These unique relationships have allowed her to grow as a community advocate and as a mediator between the civilian population and the city government.

Nicole has been an advocate for her community for majority of her life, organizing numerous meetings for neighbors and larger community events for issues ranging from quality of life to community engagement. She has served the community in various capacities, volunteering much of her time with the Boston Police Department, neighborhood groups, and at community events during different holidays. This civil participation has allowed her to gain an inside look at community wants and needs in terms of development and progress.

Currently, she is the President of the Alabama Organization, the President of Dania Street Crime Stoppers, the rental agent and member of the Ladies Auxiliary at the William E. Carter Post 16 in Mattapan and a member of the Ramsey/Toy Post in Dorchester.
